Dr. Colin M. Peeler, BCBA
President and Consultant

Dr. Colin M. Peeler earned his Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in ABA from Washington State University, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Dr. Peeler has served as the Coordinator of the Master’s program in Psychology and as a Professor at Florida State University in Panama City for the past five years. During his time at FSU-PC Dr. Peeler taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology, established and served as the Director of ABOVE ALL, FSU PC’s in home treatment program for children with autism.

Dr. Peeler has been providing therapy to children with autism and teaching others how to do the same for over 15 years. Dr. Peeler’s true passion is helping children and their parents live better lives and as such decided to establish Behavior Solutions, Inc. so he could focus his efforts on that purpose. He has presented over 60 papers at state and national conferences, been published in scholarly journals, and conducted many workshops, staff trainings and invited lectures around the country. His expertise lies in the areas of early intervention for children with autism, parent and staff training, and dealing with behavior problems. Angie Peeler, MEd, BCBA
Vice President and Consultant

Angie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Masters of Education with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from Eastern Washington University, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.  Angie was a classroom teacher for 8 years, working in both the general and special education settings before she and Dr. Peeler decided to open Behavior Solutions, Inc. so they could work more intensively with families and their children.  She has experience working with children with varying exceptionalities including autism, language impairments, learning disabilities, behavior disorders, and emotional handicaps.  Angie is committed to helping children and families improve their quality of life.  Angie is the proud wife of Dr. Colin Peeler and the mother of two wonderful boys. Tawnya Crider, BS, BCaBA
Consultant

Tawnya earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida State University and is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She studied under Dr. Colin Peeler at FSU and has been providing therapy for over 5 years. Tawnya has experience working with adults and children with a wide range of developmental disabilities including autism, Fragile X Syndrome, Downs Syndrome and Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome. She loves improving the lives of her clients, whether she is providing Intensive Behavioral Therapy programs for children with autism, working with children and adults to increase their independence or teaching caregivers to decrease and manage non-compliant and aggressive behaviors. She also serves as a consultant to the public school district and a private school for children with autism and related disabilities. Her responsibilities include conducting behavioral assessments, behavior plan development, staff training, supervising behavior plan implementation and educational program development for students with autism utilizing the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills. Heidi Blaylock, MA, BCBA
Consultant 

Heidi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has five years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities. During these five years Heidi has worked within organizations and school districts around the St. Louis area providing therapy, consultation, training, and conducting assessments. Heidi was most recently involved with coordinating an early childhood special education autism program for a large school district. She is passionately committed to all of the individuals that she supports. Increasing an individual's quality of life through behavioral changes has been a fulfilling part of her professional career. Heidi enjoys theater, travel, visiting family: especially her niece and nephews, and spending time at the Missouri Botanical Garden with her husband. Contact Heidi. 


Jami Jenks, MEd, BCBA
Consultant 

Jami received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College, Master of Education Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on autism from the University of Louisville and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has been working with children with autism and related disorders for nine years. Before moving to St. Louis, Jami provided services in Louisville, Kentucky and Raleigh, North Carolina. She has provided services in a variety of settings, including public schools, client homes and in a private school devoted exclusively to educating children with autism. Jami is dedicated to meeting the special needs of her clients and their families. She enjoys working in her yard and playing with her dog. Contact Jami. 


Jody Martin, MS, BCBA
Consultant 

Jody earned her Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's Degree with a specialty in Applied Behavior Analysis in Psychology from Florida State University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has three years of experience as an early intervention behavior therapist and case manager providing direct intensive one on one therapy and parent training for families and their children diagnosed with autism and related disorders. Jody has also worked with the Behavior Analysts Services Program contracted through the Department of Children and Families providing in home and classroom instruction teaching parents Essential Tools for Positive Parenting. She has provided services for her clients in home, community and school settings including her recent work as a public school teacher with 3rd- 5th grade children in an Autism Cluster classroom. She has experience conducting functional analyses, assessments including the use of Assessments of Basic Language and Learning Skills, writing and implementing behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs, staff training, discrete trial and natural environment learning, and has assisted with community workshops on basic behavioral techniques. Jodi is passionate about helping her clients acquire new skills and improve the quality of the relationships in their lives. Jody is a mother of two children and loves spending time with her kids. When she has free time she also enjoys camping, kayaking, spending time with family and friends and going to the beach. Contact Jody. 


 

Julie Snider, BS, BCaBA
Consultant 

Julie earned her bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from Maryville University in St. Louis and is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst.  She has nine years of experience providing therapy to children and adolescents with autism and related disabilities.  During these nine years, Julie has provided therapy, consultation, and training in a variety of settings including schools, homes, and community sites.  She strives to see her clients making progress in all areas of their lives and living to their fullest potential.  Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog, as well as knitting whenever she has a free moment. Allison O'Brien, BS, BCaBA
Consultant 

Allison earned her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is currently working toward her Master's in Special Education. She is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She has 10 years of experience in the field of behavior analysis. During those 10 years, she has provided therapy, behavior consultation and training to teachers and parents. She has experience conducting functional behavioral assessments, writing and supervising the implementation of behavior intervention plans and developing discrete trial programs. She has provided services in client homes, the community, public schools and in a private school for children with severe and aggressive behavior. Allison is the mother of 2 children and enjoys spending time with her family as well as reading and scrapbooking. Contact Allison.


 

Lisa Gilbertsen, MS, BCBA
Consultant 


Lisa earned her Bachelor�s degree in communication sciences and disorders from St. Louis University and Master's degree with a specialty in Applied Behavior Analysis in Psychology from University of Nevada Reno.  Lisa is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the field of applied behavior analysis for over twelve years.  During this time, Lisa has provided therapy, consultation, training and administrative supervision in a variety of settings, including school districts, homes and university.  Lisa was most recently involved in coordinating applied behavior analysis programming for students with developmental disabilities for a large school district.  In addition to her work as a Behavior Consultant for Behaviors Solutions, Lisa currently serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Missouri St. Louis where she teaches graduate and undergraduate coursework for students pursuing their certification as Associate Behavior Analysts.   Lisa is strongly committed to improving the lives of her clients and their families by providing intensive programming to clients and training to caregivers to teach clients crucial skills that increase independence, decrease inappropriate behaviors and teach clients to appropriately communicate their wants and needs.   Lisa is a loving and devoted wife who enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, and two dogs, teaching Zumba, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
